PBY 5A Catalina, US Navy Early Camo

The PBY Catalina was a U.S. designed and built seaplane used throughout and after World War Two as a Maritime Patrol and ASW aircraft. Here it is depicted in its 1940 through late 1942 U.S. Navy camouflage scheme.

This is a 1:35 or minifigure scale model containing just around 2600 parts. The primary focus is on the external looks but it has some space in the cockpit.

This model has been built in real life and holds up extremely well. The only thing to watch out for is to be gentle with the rear paneling and the connection between fuselage and wing. 
The removable landing gear is primarily for looks as the aircraft is tail heavy. Thus, a stand is included.
